After an impressive opening, Vishnu Manchu’s mythological film Kannappa has seen a notable drop in box office collections over its first five days. Despite star-studded appearances and strong visuals, the film’s earnings have dipped through the weekdays.
According to early estimates, Kannappa has grossed ₹27.45 crore across all languages in India. It began its theatrical run with a solid ₹9.35 crore on Day 1, driven largely by audiences in Telugu-speaking regions. However, collections declined to ₹7.15 crore on Saturday and ₹6.9 crore on Sunday.
The downward trend continued into the week, with Monday pulling in ₹2.3 crore and Tuesday slipping further to ₹1.75 crore.
Occupancy Trends
On Tuesday, the Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 14.42%, while the Hindi version—though slower to pick up—showed a late boost with 14.12% overall and a notable 23.41% occupancy during night shows.
